Airbus is looking for a Techno Functional Manager (Subject Matter Expert ) – Digital for Operations - Industrial Solutions to join the Bangalore, India location.


The Techno Functional Manager (SME) is part of the Digital function and is responsible for the day to day technical management of the Industrial Solutions team, which is located within Digital for Operations part of our Digital Global In-house Centre (GIC).


Success of this position will require strong international collaboration with global Airbus teams. Digital for Operations is responsible for developing and maintaining applications across different Products using ERP(SAP) and Non ERP platforms with high level technologies and functional architecture.


Our team is answering business needs from the whole Airbus organization across the world, mainly Europe, related to the Operations and Industrial landscape. The team follows the last way of working such as agile-at-scale, with several squads working in parallel to deliver products in a user centric approach (customer satisfaction)..


The team is working in close collaboration with the Products Managers in Europe. As a SME, you will be working with Various Digital Mobile applications (ERP & NoN ERP) teams to achieve the ambitious goal of digital transformation in the Industrial context. Specically considering the technical and functional skills, it is expected that you are passionate about delivery and service excellence, with a strong understanding and respect for Airbus values.


You will align team goals by fully understanding the business strategy of industrial solution and considering the organizational priorities, identify and evaluate business & technical trends and choose a course of action to achieve the same.


Primary responsibilities : ● Manage and technically lead the Industrial Solutions team within the respect of Airbus values in close collaboration with the Product & Service Line Manager & Product Manager in Europe
  ● Design and Develop solution for Operations in Airbus Commercial division using Mobile technologies


● Strong Knowledge Augmented Worker Service (MR/AR/VR).


● Strong Knowledge of the MR/AR/VR and Mobile App Development


● Understanding of programming, algorithms, software engineering principles, software architecture, and software testing


● Knowledge on working with technologies WONDERWARE / SCADA / Simatic IT/SAP ABAP, OEE (Overall Equipment Eciency. Knowledge of WinCC (Siemens) is a plus.


● Work closely with Product & Service line leader across DO domain to Implement the road map of PSL in Industrial solutions


● Understand the Business requirement clearly and explain to team for effective execution.


● Enable team to drive simplication and optimization of daily activities and tools being used across domain


● Support team in building the roadmap on plan for future applications


● Support Line management with performance management and development process by identifying the necessary training program for team.


● Coach, mentor, & provide clear technical direction to the team accordance to increase job performance


● Maintain transparent and appropriate communication with the team


● Responsible to take business decisions in accordance with organization policies and procedures


● Take the accountability of developing and maintaining a detailed project follow-up & ensure that deliverables are in line with the timeline. Manage accordingly risks through mitigation planning


● Ability to provide solutions, determine overall management direction and provide recommendations for complex issues


● Managing coordination of the teams and working groups engaged globally in the different projects


● Manage global communications and alignment with all stakeholders (including production sites end customers)


● Liaises with, and updates progress to, senior management


● Conduct the performance evaluation of the team together with HoD


● Help the team to develop competencies of the Team and prepare for future competencies Qualication & Experience Graduate/Post Graduate with 12+ years of experience in Mobile/Industrial technologies domain. Experience in delivering critical applications/projects with following criteria:

● Ability to engage and motivate people by Technically engaging


● Dening technology roadmaps


● Agile Safe Methodologies


● Knowledge in Aerospace domain

Ensure that all product/programme targets are met whilst verifying the company commitments towards the customer.


Define, establish and manage product roadmap within the framework of the company strategy.


Optimize and arbitrate resources/conflicts/risks & opportunities and deliver all products/services according the internal or external customers' requirements.
