Role: Total Rewards Specialist 3


This is a role which will involve partnering closely with Human Resources colleagues, service providers and different stakeholders to administer the benefits and wellness programs in India.  The incumbent will provide daily support to employees and managers including but not limited to our health benefits, retirement plans, preventive wellness programs in India.  The incumbent may also support some benefits/wellness program administration for APAC countries.  This position is reporting to Total Rewards Director, Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong.   


Total Rewards Specialist may also support reward and recognition activities and any new benefits/wellness program rollout. 


The selected individual will be able to formalize and streamline current internal processes; build internal partnerships and manage daily benefits/wellness program administration.


Typical Responsibilities


  • Manage the regular administration on different group insurance plans, including staff movement updating, invoice processing, broker & insurer service level monitoring, support on insurance renewals, etc.
  • Administer retirement plans
  • Assist in administration of benefits policies and ensure all benefits information is up to date
  • Consistently ensure plan compliance and governance
  • Proactively develop, update and co-ordinate distribution of employee benefits/wellness communications
  • Actively manage vendor relationships and partner with them to continually review their service level, our plan design for effectiveness, compliance and consistency with the market trends
  • Act as primary contact for HR Business Partners and other internal partners for escalated issues on benefits/wellness or enquiries
  • Provide training and support to the HR organization with regards to the benefit/wellness programs and practices
  • Maintain effective working relationships within HR and with those in other departments (e.g. finance/accounting, legal) in support of total rewards programs.
  • Assist in design of benefits/wellness policies and programs
  • Participate in the market surveys as well as market data analysis
  • Support total rewards programs review and initiatives roll-out
  • Provide support on ad hoc projects as assigned

Experience


  • Bachelor's degree/Master’s degree (Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Investments or Human Resources preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in MNC
