The Role:




Looking for a Training professional to design and deliver blended learning interventions supporting the rollout and stabilisation of technical and business process change programmes. The role involves creating stand‑alone and trainer‑led learning such as videos, e‑learning, webinars, Q&A forums and face‑to‑face training, while enabling a 70:20:10 multi‑channel approach that ensures engaging, high‑quality learning experiences and builds strong, measurable financial skills to enhance overall finance function performance."




Accountabilities:




Production and Maintenance of Blended Learning Interventions




  • Produces, tests and quality‑assures branded learning materials for change programmes, delivering primarily through e‑learning and webinars while keeping learner needs central to development.
  • Gathers SME input from varied sources to ensure all learning interventions align with change programme priorities, adapting materials based on ongoing stakeholder feedback.
  • Shares updated learning content with the wider training team, ensures accurate LMS upload, and maintains all materials for seamless Business‑as‑Usual access and continued relevance.


Training Delivery




  • Delivers effective end‑user training using suitable methods and materials, providing detailed instruction and addressing a wide range of questions within their area of expertise.
  • Supports learners with pre‑ and post‑course activities to maximise learning outcomes, conducting sessions primarily through remote platforms like Zoom or WebEx, and occasionally face to face.
  • Manages practical training logistics, ensuring accurate communication, materials distribution, registers, and timely responses to user queries via forums, wikis and functional mailboxes.


Monitoring and Evaluation and Learning



  • Manages the collection of all feedback from users and stakeholders on all learning interventions as agreed with the SMEs/Project Managers/Finance Training Manger
  • Evaluates and acts on feedback received, modifying courses and web-based resources (intranet, learning portal, guides) as required to meet user and stakeholder requirements.

Information Security




  • Ensures team compliance with information security, ISO 27001 and IGA requirements, while managing secure account lifecycle activities, access reviews and record‑keeping aligned with regulatory standards.
  • Provides security awareness, monitors incidents, and ensures timely resolution within SLAs to maintain robust governance and operational integrity.


Role specific knowledge and experience: 




Essential:



  • Competent user of web-based training tools such as zoom, WebEx and yammer or wiki forums.
  • Competent user and knowledge of Learning Management System
  • Competent in adding or editing content on Share Point (or a willingness to become competent within 3 months)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent user of Microsoft Visio and MS office especially Teams, PowerPoint & Word

Desirable:



  • Competent user of Success Factor Learning Management Systems.
  • Knowledge and experience of applications (e.g. SAP)
  • Competent user of one or more of the following or similar tools in the production of learning materials: Camtasia, Rise, Adobe Captivate or Go animate (or a willingness to become competent within 12 months)
  • Knowledge and experience of British Council operations


Role Specific Skills:



  • Intermediate experience in finance with proven expertise in designing and delivering technical/business process web-based and face to face training
  • Proven experience of designing self-access learning materials for a range of technical or business process situations

Education



Minimum / Essential



  • Commerce/Finance Graduate or MBA Finance

Desirable



  • Train the trainer course or similar courses.
