Job description

About Payoneer

Founded in 2005, Payoneer is the global financial platform that removes friction from doing business across borders, with a mission to connect the world’s underserved businesses to a rising global economy. We’re a community with over 2,500 colleagues all over the world, working to serve customers, and partners in over 190 countries and territories.

By taking the complexity out of the financial workflows–including everything from global payments and compliance to multi-currency and workforce management, to providing working capital and business intelligence–we give businesses the tools they need to work efficiently worldwide and grow with confidence.

We are looking for a Treasury Systems Analyst to join our team in Bangalore India.

This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our treasury systems, maintaining data integrity, and supporting the treasury team in optimizing processes and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent technical skills, and a passion for improving systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day administration of the Treasury Management System (TMS), including data feeds, workflows, and integrations.
  • Monitor system performance, resolve basic errors, and escalate technical issues to TMS provider support or internal IT as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining dashboards, reports, and cash visibility tools within the TMS.
  • Help test and implement new TMS modules, enhancements, and configuration changes.
  • Maintain documentation on system processes, controls, and configurations.
  • Assist with onboarding and connecting accounts to the company’s treasury platforms.
  • Manage and resolve operational inquiries and support tickets in a timely manner.
  • Perform routine daily and monthly operational checks to ensure data accuracy and process completeness.
  • Support internal reporting and updates required by reconciliation or operations teams.
  • Monitor and address missing bank statements, data gaps, and variances by investigating and resolving issues.
  • Support the setup and integration of new banking connections, including APIs and electronic statement channels.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to existing bank connectivity.
  • Participate in investigations related to statement discrepancies, unexpected postings, or transaction-level issues.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial systems and workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies. Maintain documentation for system processes, procedures, and user guides.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in finance operations, financial systems management, or a related role. Experience with TMS and financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Kyriba, or similar) is highly desirable.
  • Technical and Analytical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
