We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What you'll build

As a User Experience Design Specialist, you will design enterprise-grade, AI-enhanced human experience management solutions used by millions worldwide.

You’ll

  • Craft intuitive, scalable, and intelligent product experiences aligned with SAP Strategy and SAP Design principles—simplifying complex workflows into elegant, user‑centered solutions.
  • Design end‑to‑end UX deliverables including user journeys, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity UI, ensuring high‑quality execution across web and mobile.
  • Leverage generative and agentic AI workflows to accelerate prototyping, research synthesis, and decision-making while applying AI‑assisted analytics to validate interactions and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Accessibility experts to design context‑aware, explainable AI experiences and deliver solutions that are technically feasible, scalable, and aligned with product goals.
  • Contribute to and evolve the SAP Design System, creating new patterns for AI-driven experiences, ensuring consistency, accessibility, inclusivity, and localization.
  • Conduct global user research—interviews, surveys, usability studies—and synthesize insights into actionable design directions that drive measurable user and business outcomes.
  • Drive continuous iteration using data, telemetry, and rapid testing, making strategic UX decisions that improve task flows, reduce friction, and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Communicate design decisions clearly and collaborate effectively across distributed teams—building strong relationships, shaping product vision, and championing user pain-point resolution with empathy and craft excellence.

What you bring

  • Experience & Expertise 5-7 years as a Product or UX Designer, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise software company, with a strong portfolio showcasing professional interaction design. Experience working in large, geographically dispersed product-driven environments.
  • Mobile & Web Expertise in designing native mobile (iOS and/or Android) and web experiences, AI-powered products and features, and applying user-centered design (UCD) principles.
  • AI - Good understanding of AI ethics, model behavior, and responsible design practices for AI-driven products. Hands-on experience using agentic AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, and interaction design.
  • Design Process, Tools & Documentation Skilled in writing design specifications, narratives, and annotations, including accessibility considerations for web and mobile, and proficient in standard UX tools like Figma, Sketch, or similar.
  • UX Best Practices & Accessibility - Good understanding of UX principles, mobile-first and responsive design, and accessibility guidelines to create inclusive, user-friendly experiences

Where you belong

At SAP SuccessFactors, you’ll join a global design community committed to building human‑centered, future‑ready experiences. You’ll be part of a culture that values craftsmanship, innovation, inclusion, and the belief that great design can transform how people work. Think diverse, inclusive and engaged.

Here, you’ll:

  • Belong to a design culture rooted in SAP’s core principles of Clarity, Coherence, and Inclusiveness, ensuring products that are simple, reliable, and accessible at global scale.
  • Work with talented designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers across time zones and cultures, contributing to a strong and diverse global UX community.
  • Participate in shared rituals—design reviews, critiques, learning circles, and co‑creation sessions—that strengthen design maturity across SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Have the opportunity to shape next‑generation HCM experiences, influencing products used by organizations in more than 60 industries worldwide.
  • Join a team that embraces AI‑driven transformation, giving you the space to co‑create intelligent, agentic, and responsible AI capabilities that define the future of work.
  • Thrive in a modern, flexible, purpose‑driven work culture that values authenticity and growth through continuous learning programs, global mentorship, opportunities to lead initiatives, contribute to design systems, or influence design strategy.
  • Be supported by a psychologically safe environment, where curiosity, experimentation, and constructive critique are encouraged and celebrated.
