As a member of the Trade & Working Capital Product Delivery team in a Project Manager role, you will manage complex, high visibility cross-functional programs by developing integrated plans, managing dependencies, analyzing potential risks/benefits, and working with key partners to deliver and support strategic goals. Ensure that all projects are delivered with a consistent high level of quality and project management discipline and are proceeding in line with client and management expectations. The Product Delivery team also builds upon developing business analysis as a core operational competency by owning defined project office processes and supporting active project and programs.This role will be responsible for supporting key Trade & Working Capital product evolution and innovation across multiple platforms in business and technology. Bridging and building relationships across all JPMC Lines of Business, as well as Compliance, Audit, Regulatory and other stakeholder initiatives. The skilled and detail oriented individual will evaluate existing business and work to analyze and contribute to detailed requirements for product and technology teams.
Job responsibilities - Track and promote project progress, coordinating and providing RAG Rating/Project Reporting updates.
- Manage and run project working groups, and other required meetings to drive projects to successful completion and benefit realization.
- Develop essential management Information for decision support (e.g. analysis and development of any strategic responses).
- Develop close and influencing relationships with product, sales, service, implementations, infrastructure/support groups and JPM business partners
- Assist in creation of senior management presentations and reviews (e.g. business reviews, off-sites etc.).
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Over 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in the financial services industry.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and process management skills.
- Ability to develop strong partnerships across business lines, cultures, and functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with project management and analysis software like Excel, Alteryx, MS Project, JIRA, Visio, Tableau, and SharePoint.
- Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and delivery-focused, with the ability to work independently.
- Experience in analyzing large data sets to summarize complex information.
- Broad delivery experience with an understanding of tools, processes, and best practices.
- Proven ability to manage large, complex projects, addressing issues promptly to minimize impact on timelines and risk.
- Ability to lead a team through ambiguity in large-scale business initiatives and define a clear path forward.
- Demonstrated initiative and creativity for successful and timely execution, with strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Proficient in analyzing and resolving project-related issues while achieving set objectives.
- Skilled in partnering with stakeholders to gather business requirements, procedures, and processes.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking for understanding and analyzing complex business processes.
- Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experienced in streamlining and automating business processes, with knowledge of workflow tools and change management principles, including Lean/Six Sigma methodologies or Payments Agility.
