Workday Integration Tester

Project description As a Workday Integration Tester, you will be responsible for executing test scripts and validations for inbound and outbound interfaces within a Workday implementation. This includes ensuring accurate data movement, payload integrity, and system hand-offs across multiple touchpoints in end-to-end (E2E) testing cycles. You will collaborate with integration developers, functional SMEs, and data teams to validate interface behavior and troubleshoot issues. Responsibilities Execute integration test cases for Workday interfaces, including: Inbound/Outbound feeds Workday Studio integrations EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder) Core/Cloud Connectors/Payroll Connectors APIs and RaaS (Reports-as-a-Service) Validate: Payload structures (XML, JSON) File formats (CSV, flat files) Data mapping and transformation logic Error handling and retry mechanisms Perform smoke testing and end-to-end interface validation across environments. Conduct data reconciliation between source and target systems. Log and track defects in Jira (or equivalent tool); work with Integration and Data Team) for resolution. Support environment readiness checks for integration testing cycles. Collaborate with functional and data teams to ensure alignment on test scenarios and prerequisites. Daily sync with Integration Test Lead; weekly reporting to Program Test Manager. Skills Must have 3-5 years’ experience supporting Workday integrations – Studio, EIBs, Core/Cloud connectors, APIs. Understanding of XML, XSLT, data mapping and test execution for interfaces Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset Experience in: Creating test scenarios and test cases, Executing UAT and SIT cycles Nice to have Agile Methodologies Other Languages English: C1 Advanced Seniority Senior
