Job Requirement



We are looking for a Commissioning Manager to work on EPCM portfolio of projects under a general service agreement to be based in Basra, Iraq for 28/28 rotation.




Job Responsibility and Requirement



  • The Commissioning Manager shall be responsible for the Commissioning deliverables of KBR Majnoon projects, managing team and resources to ensure the scope or work is executed in a safe timely manner in line with project schedule and milestones.
  • Manage and lead Commissioning team and vendors, monitoring progress and ensuring work execution is both safe and best practices.
  • Development of Commissioning execution plans, schedules and procedures.
  • Focal Start Up and Operational readiness communications with Management Team, Client and facilitate handover activities.

Key responsibilities include:



  • Lead by example and coach good HSE and safe working practices.
  • Develop Commissioning strategy and execution plans.
  • Develop Commissioning and input to the integrated schedule – in line with project timeline and milestones.
  • Develop Commissioning and Start-up procedures.
  • Coordinate between the Engineering, construction, and Operation teams to ensure that all systems are installed, tested, verifying readiness for RFSU claims.
  • Manage completion Systemization and implementation to ensure works can progress methodically and efficiently.
  • Manage resources to ensure preparation and review of commissioning procedures, completions system and RLMs.
  • Ensure test records of all commissioning activities, including test results, reports, and any issues encountered are accurate and compiled in line with completions strategies.
  • Ensure all commissioning dossiers and documentation is completed, updated, and ready for review and handover.
  • Manage Commissioning vendor requirements/
  • Develop Work Execution Flow Scheme (WEFS).
  • Develop readiness and ORA documentation, PSSR, PSUA, SOF to support RFSU Certification claims.
  • Develop Commissioning Consumables list and commissioning spares list.
  • Develop and implement Project to Asset Transfer Plan (P2A) plan comprising of physical assets with system turnover team and the Information Management Documents
  • Drive the Flawless Project Delivery (FPD) with a focused ownership on the FPD deliverables specific for the CSU areas
  • Manage and support interface with the Asset’s Operations & Maintenance during start up and handover.

Experience required:



  • Minimum 20+ years of experience required
  • Minimum 14-15+ Years of experience in Oil & gas industry
  • 10 years in Oil and  Gas Operations or Project Engineering positions, with experience in Commissioning & Start-up
  • Should have been a Manager for minimum 5+ years

Education:



  • Bachelor honours degree in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognised institution.

Preferred:



  • Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
