Key Goal:

The ideal candidate will ensure that company comply with industry specifications, standards, regulations, and laws including Central bank of Iraq (CBI) laws and regulations. Review operational practices, create, and enforce compliance plans, and perform regulatory risk management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage the communication with Central bank of Iraq (CBI) including attending the regular and ad hoc meetings.

Working hand in hand with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory risks.

Ensure that the Company is fully complaint with all applicable laws and regulations.

Provide advice to all relevant departments/ divisions to perform their duties that related to compliance in accordance with the regulations.

Maintain a good relationship with regulatory authorities such as (CBI) by providing all required data/information and coordinate/attend the meetings as needed.

Assess all existing products and services and ensure that it’s fully compliant with CBI laws and regulations.

Participate actively in products development by analyzing the products and services and identify any potential violations and provide alternatives.

Organizing regular training and awareness sessions for employees to efficiently communicate key regulatory changes and updates.

Prepare reports to senior management and other external regulatory authorities as per the policies and requirements.

Participate in the development of the Internal control system to prevent any violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.

Developing and enacting regulatory compliance strategies.

Performing compliance audits and compiling reports.

Conducts interviews, scrutinizes details, and asks questions to make sure employees make every effort to stay compliant across a company's various departments.

Identify all non-compliance areas, investigate the root cause, and propose the proper solutions.

Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR department to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.

Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.

Participate in reviewing and assessing potential fraud activities and implementing fraud detection tools.

Establishing written policies and procedures regarding the compliance in accordance with the laws and regulations and ensure regular reviewing for these policies and procedures.

Evaluate the efficiency of the implemented controls and improve them continuously.

Revise procedures reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.

Spearheads and helps to design programs that improve compliance in environmental, ethical, and other areas.

Demonstrates knowledge of ethical employment standards set out by the law and corporate regulations.

Read, understand, enforce, and adhere to AsiaPay's information security policies, standards, and procedures, and do not hinder in any way the proper execution of procedures defined within.

Understand and abide by AsiaPay's information security access agreement and rules of behavior.

Education, Experience & Qualifications necessary to perform the job:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in law or international law. Preferably Masters or M.Phil.
