Instrument Commissioning Technician

Title:

KBR is looking for Instrument Commissioning Technician (28/28 rotation) for Majnoon project to be based in Basra – Iraq

Responsibilities & skill sets of Instrument Commissioning Technician

The main purpose of the Instrument Commissioning Technician role is to deliver a high quality, consistent and competent service in accordance with project / company requirements, standards and procedures to support overall delivery of company goals and schedule

Job Specifications

• Minimum a Bachelors OR Diploma in Instrument or Electrical engineering or a technical degree in maintenance or E&I division.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience within Oil & Gas industry, must have Commissioning experience.
• Knowledge of Distributed Control systems, PLC’s, Ex equipment, Instrument loop testing methods and Oil & Gas process and Utility systems understanding.
• Strong knowledge of EPCM projects facilities
• Results oriented, self-driven and self-motivated with the capability of working under stress
  Team player who is capable of mentoring and teaching other team members
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
• Preferably Iraqi nationals
