2. Design & Document Audit 3.
Construction & Commissioning Supervision 4.
Witness critical tests performed by EPC.
5. Resolve technical disputes between EPC and local subcontractors by providing PMC’s expert judgment, aligned with client and regulatory requirements.
6. Compliance & Stakeholder Coordination 7.
Report regularly to the client and PMC management: Deliver weekly/monthly instrumentation progress reports and present technical updates in project review meetings.
8. Quality oversight in Iraqi oil & gas projects.

It focuses on auditing, supervising, and verifying that EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) contractors adhere to the client’s (oil operator) quality requirements, international oil & gas standards (API, ISO, ASME), Iraqi local regulations (Ministry of Oil Quality Directives, Iraqi National Standards for Petroleum Facilities), and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) protocols.
Position Capabilities and Requirements (General) 1.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Civil Engineering (with quality control focus).
2. Minimum 5 years of quality control experience in oil & gas, with at least 2 years in a PMC role.
3. Prior experience in Iraqi or Middle East oil & gas projects is critical—familiarity with local instrumentation suppliers, regulatory approval workflows, and logistical challenges.
4. Fluent in written and spoken English (mandatory for client/PMC/EPC communication); 5.
Willingness to work on-site in Iraqi oil fields and adapt to secure, remote living conditions (on-site accommodation provided).
6. Excellent conflict-resolution skills: Capable of mediating between EPC, local contractors, and Iraqi authorities to keep instrumentation works on track.
7. Strong attention to detail and audit skills; ability to enforce strict quality standards objectively.
