About the Role
Sales Manager will oversee both inbound and outbound telesales functions, managing a team of two unit managers and a combined team of 90+ agents. This role requires a seasoned leader capable of setting sales strategies, optimizing conversion funnels, and aligning team efforts across marketing, guided learning, and operations. The ideal candidate brings both strategic vision and hands-on leadership, driving performance through data, structure, and motivation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the Inbound and Outbound and bookstores sales channels and their teams (approx. 90 telesales agents).
Develop and implement telesales strategies to achieve conversion, revenue, and retention targets.
Oversee daily sales operations across various channels including campaigns, guided learning, offline exams, YouTube, and social media.
Align team goals with business priorities in collaboration with the General Manager directly.
Monitor KPIs, conversion metrics, and agent productivity, implementing improvement plans where needed.
Ensure effective CRM usage and accurate tracking of all customer interactions and sales performance.
Work closely with Marketing to enhance lead quality and maximize campaign ROI.
Conduct regular coaching, training, and performance reviews for team leads and agents.Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership based on market data and trends.
Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus across the telesales teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 3–7 years of telesales/inside sales experience, including 2+ years in leadership.
Proven ability to manage large, high-performing sales teams (20+ members).
Experience in B2C telesales, ideally within EdTech, telecom, or service-based sectors.
Strong command of sales reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Proficiency in CRM systems, Google Sheets, and data tracking tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
