Prismecs is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer / Technician with strong hands-on expertise in Emerson Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) to support project-based activities in Jordan. This role requires independent site visits to troubleshoot, maintain, calibrate, and optimize CEMS analyzer systems in compliance with operational and safety standards. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, technically strong, and comfortable working across multiple client sites.
Independently visit client sites to troubleshoot, maintain, and calibrate Emerson CEMS analyzers
Diagnose and resolve analyzer issues related to NOx, CO, O₂, and other gas measurements
Perform routine preventive maintenance and system calibration per specifications
Troubleshoot sample lines, pumps, solenoid valves, and associated CEMS components
Conduct detailed system inspections to ensure optimal analyzer performance
Provide on-site technical support and basic training to client personnel as required
Accurately document maintenance work, calibration results, and troubleshooting actions
Ensure compliance with site safety policies and operational standards
Travel independently between multiple project locations
Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Emerson CEMS analyzers
Strong understanding of CEMS controls, calibration procedures, and troubleshooting methodologies
Experience working with NOx, CO, O₂, and related gas analyzer systems
Practical knowledge of CEMS sample paths, pumps, solenoid valves, and system components
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
Valid work permit / legal working rights in Jordan (mandatory)
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication skills for coordination with site teams and contractors
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a project-driven environment
Technical degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience using Emerson diagnostic software or similar analyzer tools
Field-based / on-site
Independent travel between client locations
