Job Summary
The IT Manager will oversee the
development, implementation, and management of all information technology
systems and services within the company. The role includes managing IT
infrastructure, supporting business operations, and ensuring technology aligns
with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy to support business objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Exploring new technologies for future planning and potential implementation.
- Prepare and manage the IT department's budget.
Infrastructure and Systems Management:- Maintain and optimize IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
- Ensure all IT systems operate securely and efficiently.
- Manage software solutions for business operations such as sales, inventory, and manufacturing.
- ERP Systems Management:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to customize ERP features to meet specific company needs.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of ERP systems tailored for manufacturing.
- Oversee data migration, system integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and external ERP vendors.
- Manage integrations between ERP and other business systems.
4.Training and
Support:
- Organize and deliver training sessions to staff to ensure effective use of the ERP system.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshoot system-related issues.
Team Leadership:- Lead and manage the IT team, ensuring proper training and development.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and evaluate their performance.
Technical Responsibilities- Managing all projects held at the Information Technology and Documents Control Department and providing advice to the staff, in addition to suggesting ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyzing the systems' efficiency and recommending modifications, enhancements and upgrades.
- identifying needs and addressing requirements for all projects and activities.
- Sourcing for IT hardware and software and coordinating with the Engineering & Procurement Division to choose best suppliers at the most suitable prices with best quality.
- Evaluating technological issues and suggesting technological alternatives to enhance office functions and increase staff productivity, as well as suggesting cost reduction techniques for communication.
- Reviewing departmental requests, identifying and meeting requirements and ensuring that all discrepancies are being solved.
Security and Compliance:- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive company data.
- Directing and monitoring the development and implementation of appropriate security standards and measures and following up the adherence to such standards to avoid and unauthorized modifications, retrieving, copying, or deleting of data.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
Support and Troubleshooting:- Provide technical support to employees, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues proactively.
- Managing all internet support activities such as web pages and emails development to ensure efficiency of such activities.
- Monitoring the formulation of corrective actions with proper implementation guides to overcome any technical problems that may be encountered while carrying out operations.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:- Negotiate with vendors for hardware, software, and IT services.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure IT systems align with business needs.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Experience:
- 5+ years in IT management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing technologies is a must.
- Experience in Odoo Implementation .
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of networking, system administration, and database management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Odoo.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
