Job Summary:
The role of Operations represents the backbone of the
company’s daily and long-term functioning across sourcing & procurement,
determining optimum Route to Market to support service delivery channels,
facilitating logistics and warehousing while maintaining the functioning and
compliance of contractual relationships and obligations. Additionally,
Operations is responsible for the continuous monitoring and oversight of the
company’s shared service functions.
Job Responsibilities:
â Sourcing & Procuring
o Assess, select, and manage suppliers to acquire the
desired goods and services.
o Audit suppliers for competitiveness in quality, delivery
terms and price.
o Establish multiple suppliers for strategic products.
o Procure all supplies necessary for the company’s day to
day running of operations.
â Route to market & Demand Planning
o Determine the company’s service delivery channels
o Align service delivery channels with targets, customers
and growth areas
o Plan the demand for goods and services by consolidating
service delivery channel demand to help
meet customer satisfaction and business profitability
targets.
o Manage the timely receipt of annual forecast and quarterly
orders from distributors
â Logistics
o Manage and facilitate transportation/delivery, cargo
handling, port processing and fulfilment based on service delivery channel
allocations.
o Maximize efficiency of all freight routes being air, land
or sea
o Maintain knowledge of local and international clearance
requirement
â Warehousing & Inventory Management
o Receive, store, and track inventory in a warehouse
o Manage warehouse staff (If applicable)
o Optimizing storage space and cost in support of the
company’s business operations and service delivery channel growth aspirations.
â Contracts & Performance Management
o Proactive management of the company’s contractual
relationships with relevant distributors and 3rd parties
o Monitor relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to
ensure a successful and compliant relationship.

Qualifications:
â 5-8 Years experience in similar role
â Experience in dealing with distributors
â Worked with food and beverage products
â Experience in designing and managing SOP’s
â Comfortable working with SAS and ERP software
