Bank of Jordan is seeking an experienced and dedicated OS Engineer to join our growing IT team.
As an OS Engineer at Bank of Jordan, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the operating systems that support our critical banking operations.
Your expertise will ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems, enabling seamless service delivery to our customers.
This role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure that the operating systems are optimized for performance and aligned with the bank's business objectives.

Perform operating system maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
Good knowledge in Servers and storages Good knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues Developing, designing, deploying, migrating, integrating, and configuring of cloud infrastructure.
Good knowledge of Windows Server and related Windows systems Managing deployments/rollouts of operating systems.
Backup and recovery processes in accordance with the Bank disaster recovery and business continuity strategies Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in OS engineering or system administration.
Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows and Linux) and their administration.
Experience with scripting languages (e.
g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
Understanding of network protocols and technologies.
Proficiency in monitoring and reporting tools for system performance.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
