1. Purpose of Job:
·To Plan, develop, and direct all aspects of the business in Jordan, covering the operation of sales related activities including the following areas: new, used, retail, fleet, corporate, commercial, online, and RAC business, to ensure profitability of the brands, in accordance with annual budget goals & objectives.
·Build and maintain all brands image, grow market shares, and increase profitability for all brands.
·Liaise with Aftersales department to ensure best customer experience.
2. Reporting Line:
This position holder reports directly to the CEO.
3. Direct Reports:
Team of fleet sales Manager, showroom Manager, sales executives/consultants, administrators, and/or any additional sales staff to be hired.
4. Title holder Accountabilities:
-Create and maintain an analysis of the local vehicle market which includes details of competitor sales, sales projections based on economic indicators, and targeted customer segments.
-Develop an expert knowledge of the customer base so as to influence targeted marketing events and relevant promotions.
-Create sales strategies and plans based on group’s products positioning and market analysis;
-Build and maintain dealership’s image though all its brands by ensuring the realization of active marketing activities to increase the brand awareness and continuously uplift the customer experience and satisfaction.
-Work with the Marketing Dept. to create and implement the marketing plan;
-Instill a dealership culture that capitalizes on an integrated business approach across Sales, Marketing and Aftersales.
-Manage all showrooms to the highest standards and optimum levels of customer service and satisfaction.
-Ensure all sales tools are updated and in full working order: computer terminals, CRM access, email address set up, brochures, and that customer details are complete and updated regularly as necessary.
-Manage all reporting staff in the following areas:
·Hiring/firing, training, working hours, remuneration including incentives, dress code etc…
(with the aid and support of HR department), in order to achieve volume & profit objectives.
·Delegate responsibilities where appropriate.
·Ensuring that all reporting staff are fully utilizing their personal efforts and their company’s resources, equipment, and facilities to achieve all brand targets and aims.
·Regularly evaluating reporting staff KPI’s, by carrying out regular appraisals to identify strengths and weaknesses as a basis of instigating and producing future policies and corrective actions.
·Ensuring all reporting staff members are complying with company’s policies, procedures, and regulations.
-Managing stock, inventory levels, and model mix, along with pricing strategies to ensure profitability according to planned margins and agreed aims, as well as approving new orders.
-Support the creation of appropriate marketing initiatives and activities to keep constant momentum of enquires all around year duration, including events management, launching new models, and special occasions for all brands within the group.
-Monitoring competitor’s activities in order to be aware of market situations hence manage to create corrective strategic actions accordingly.
-Developing the corporate sales capacity within the city by mentoring and directing corporate sales specialists & sales consultants to explore the full potential of fleet business across the local market.
-Coordinating
with Service Managers in order to deliver best customer services through all the
facilities (showrooms and service centres).
·Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any relevant field.
·5 years minimum experience in a similar role.
·In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices.
·Excellent
negotiations and leadership skills.
