Senior Network Engineer

Optimiza is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead and enhance our network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of networking technologies and protocols, combined with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex network environments.
This role will be crucial in ensuring optimal network performance and security for our operations.
Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network needs and deliver suitable solutions.
Implement network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Document network configurations, processes, and operational guidelines.
Conduct regular network assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimize network efficiency.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior network engineers.
Stay updated on emerging network technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
Class A Health Insurance Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (e.
g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS).
Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points) and network management tools.
Proficiency in network security best practices and technologies.
Hands-on experience with configuring and managing Cisco or other enterprise network devices.
Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Relevant certifications (e.
g., CCNP, CISSP, JNCIP) are preferred.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
