Senior System Administrator

Job Scope:

This role is responsible for monitoring system performance, configuring new software and hardware, and ensuring that software, hardware, servers and networks run smoothly.

Main Responsibilities:

·Designing, implementing and managing local area network information systems to improve the efficiency of network operations, and setting rules and procedures for the Network.

·Planning considerations and managing the virtualization servers.

·Designing and implementing network system backup and recovery policies, guaranteeing no data would be lost in the event of a hardware failure or storage corruption.

·Setting up and managing switches, Firewalls, emails, VPN Connections, Wireless, and LAN / WAN connectivity, Telephone.

·Monitoring and maintaining all the Hardware and software in the organization, protecting each and every workstation and update it regularly.

·Managing assets, clients, and network communication devices including lifecycle management, procurement, and replacement keeping the networks at peak readiness.

·Creating new Hardware requirements and designing a new Plan for networking in the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Comprehensive knowledge in VMware Infrastructure (certificate is a plus).
  
• Knowledge in Active Directory, OS, MS Office.
  
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
  
• Must be willing to be on call 24x7 and available from time to time during off-hours.
  
• Innovative problem-solver who can adapt to a variety of systems, and explore new opportunities as technology changes.
  

Minimum Requirements:

·Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology.

·Minimum 6 years of experience working in a heterogeneous Corporate IT Network.

·CCNA Certification.

·Experience with configuring, deploying, managing and troubleshooting network equipment.
