Are you an experienced translator with a passion for delivering high-quality English-Arabic and Arabic-English translations within a dynamic consulting environment? We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Senior Translator to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of translators, manage high volumes of work under tight deadlines, and ensure translation consistency and quality using Trados CAT Tool. We will count on you to:
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers, you will be expected to:

• Translate complex documents and communications accurately and efficiently between English and Arabic, ensuring cultural and contextual appropriateness.
• Utilize Trados CAT Tool to enhance translation quality, consistency, and productivity.
• Manage and lead a team of translators, providing guidance, support, and quality control to maintain high standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Manage expectations of clients and internal teams regarding translation timelines, quality, and deliverables.
• Handle high volumes of translation work while maintaining accuracy and meeting tight deadlines.
• Develop and implement processes to improve translation workflows and team productivity.
• Maintain strong organization and time management practices to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrate dedication and commitment to delivering high-quality translation services aligned with Mercer’s standards and values.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Languages, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional translation experience, specifically English-Arabic and Arabic-English.
• Proficiency in Trados CAT Tool is required.
• Preferred experience or knowledge in consulting or related professional services.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
• Strong skills in expectation management with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience managing high volumes of work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to manage relationships with external service providers.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• High level of dedication, commitment, and professionalism.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
