In this dual role, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers while managing Agile processes to ensure project delivery aligns with business goals.
Your leadership will empower the team to achieve greater productivity and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the software development team by mentoring, coaching, and providing guidance on best practices and software development methodologies.
Act as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder meetings.
Coordinate and prioritize development tasks, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
Promote a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and rapid problem-solving.
Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into actionable tasks for the team.
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement in team processes, tools, and methodologies.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Agile methodologies and software development practices.
Class A Health Insurance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or Scrum Master role.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience implementing Agile practices in software teams.
Proficiency in project management tools and techniques (e.
g., JIRA, Trello, or similar tools).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively guide and motivate team members.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges and project obstacles.
Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are highly desirable.
