Optimiza is seeking a dedicated Software Quality Control Specialist to join our quality assurance team.
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and quality control processes.
You will work closely with development teams to identify defects and improve software functionality.
Key Responsibilities: Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
Perform functional, regression, and usability testing to ensure software meets defined standards.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, and collaborate with developers for timely issue resolution.
Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of testing processes, including reporting on test results and communicating findings to stakeholders.
Participate in requirements reviews and provide feedback on functional specifications to ensure testability.
Support the implementation of quality assurance best practices and continuously seek to enhance testing methodologies.
Stay informed about new testing tools and technologies to drive improvements in quality control processes.
Class A Health Insurance 2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance or quality control roles.
Familiarity with software testing methodologies and best practices.
Strong experience in manual testing processes across web and mobile applications.
Proficient in using bug tracking tools (e.
g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience with automation testing tools is a plus.
