Technical Expert/ Consultant

Brief Description

The position of Technical Expert / Consultant consists of working on multiple projects for components of the domain, such as technical and/or functional domains.

§Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction

§Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint

§Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at project level

§Participate in the infrastructure architecture governance model

§Support design and deployment of infrastructure solutions meeting standardization, consolidation, TCO, security, regulatory compliance and application system qualities, for different businesses

§Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities

§Coach and mentor team members

oResponsible for designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for cloud computing

oUnderstanding of system development in cloud environments, including Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)

oApplication Architecture on Public, Private and Hybrid cloud

oUnderstanding and Working Proficiency on OpenStack, Virtual Stream and other cloud Environment

Deliverables

§Build and report infrastructure scope, schedule and plan for given project

§Assess the cloud Hardware, Infra and Network

§Assess and create, Modify the infrastructure document for pre-install and post-install

§Virtual Data center and physical datacenter Configuration and installation

§Physical installation of the servers on-perm if needed

§Infrastructure test, acceptance and commissioning

§Able to give training for onsite/ customer engineer for L1, L2 Support

§Post-Go Alive Support and should be able to own the escalation support matrix and SLAs

Qualifications

§Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

§A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in <Network, storage or virtualized/cloud computing infrastructure> OR a Master’s degree in a relevant technical area
