About the Role

We are looking for a talented Data Analyst embedded in the Business Operations domain. You will deliver analyses, experiments, and dashboards that drive measurable outcomes across regions. This is an end-to-end role: you will clarify business problems, define success metrics, partner with our Data Warehouse, build actionable tools, and support adoption across the organization.


You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, helping shape strategies, optimize processes, and inform critical decisions. Your work will directly impact revenue, margin, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.


What You’ll Do


  • Problem Solving & Experimentation: Partner with stakeholders to define problems, success metrics, and hypotheses. Propose experiments and measure their impact.
  • Dashboards & Reporting: Build and maintain Looker dashboards ensuring clarity, usability, and decision support.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze process, product, and platform performance (funnels, conversion, pricing effects) to drive improvements.
  • Data Management & QA: Specify data requirements, validate quality, and collaborate with DWH teams to maintain accurate marts and metrics.
  • AI & ML Support: Prepare datasets, support model evaluation, help productize ML features, and contribute to ML projects.
  • Strategic Analytics: Optimize sales strategy, forecast revenue and margin, monitor marketplace balance, and improve operational processes.
  • Analytics as a Product: Start with “why,” simplify complexity, and ensure analytics outputs are actionable and reliable.

Example Projects


  • Sales Strategy Optimization: Cluster product options to maximize revenue while minimizing claims or delays.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, trends, and customer feedback; recommend actionable insights.
  • Order Distribution: Design strategies to route orders to best-fit partners under multiple constraints.
  • Revenue & Margin Forecasting: Build systems to forecast outcomes and automate root-cause analysis of fluctuations.
  • Operational Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and implement preventive controls to reduce delays and claims.

What We’re Looking For


Experience: 3+ years in analytics or data science, ideally in B2B/B2C marketplaces.


Technical Skills:


  • SQL and Python (strong)
  • Dashboarding tools: Looker, Tableau, Qlik, or equivalent
  • Git, JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent project management tools
  • DWH concepts (data structures, ETL/ELT)
  • Applied ML experience is a plus (supervised/unsupervised learning, feature engineering, model evaluation)

Quantitative Skills:


  • Solid foundations in probability and statistics
  • Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and experimentation (A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, time-series analysis)

Soft Skills:


  • Strong business sense and structured thinking
  • Clear and concise communication
  • Attention to data quality and detail
  • Ability to decompose ambiguous questions into actionable deliverables

Languages: English and Russian - fluent (must). German or another European language as a plus.
