Responsibilities:
  • Provide subject matter discipline input to technical matters relating to an Oil Processing and Offloading plant
  • Provide input and consultancy on maintenance, reliability and asset management work scopes, which may include the following specific activities: maintenance planning development; critical spares reviews; maintenance data builds; data cleansing; reliability, availability and maintainability modelling; and criticality assessment
  • Able to review and critically evaluate maintenance strategies and assess whether maintenance is being carried out as laid out
  • Provide technical input on plant maintenance
  • Undertake reviews and peer assists in accordance with management system review process and checking procedures
  • Review compliance with relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments
  • Provide consultancy technical support
  • Provide consultancy specific input to scope definition and execution for business development proposals and new project work scopes
  • Review maintenance and or/ production strategies, procedures and methods
  • Oversees levels of routine maintenance work and equipment faults
  • Diagnose breakdown problems
  • Review level of equipment operability
  • Ensures quality of delivery

Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a operations and maintenance within the oil and gas industry.
  • Practical knowledge of systems plant and equipment relevant to the industry sector in own discipline area
  • Good working knowledge of oil & gas operations and maintenance plant, equipment and systems
  • Experience of CMMS systems
