Job description

  • Oversee accurate bookkeeping and timely preparation of the Trial Balance.
  • Maintain accounting records in line with approved policies, IFRS, and local regulations.
  • Supervise AP, AR, and related party reconciliations, ensuring alignment with the General Ledger.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and support internal and external audit processes.
  • Oversee payroll accuracy and timely processing.
  • Manage fixed assets accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.
  • Lead monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
  • Support budgeting and financial planning activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Manage interim and annual audits, ensuring compliance with tax and Zakat requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate cash and bank reconciliations.
  • Follow up on tax liability discharge and related compliance tasks.
  • Supervise daily accounting operations and support team performance.
  • Investigate financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement enhanced accounting processes, controls, and automation for long-term efficiency
  • Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and regulations.
