As an Advanced Field Service Engineer here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced technical facilitation and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will be accountable for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions, and driving customer satisfaction. Your expertise and dedication to excellence will play a crucial role in the success of our field service operations and the growth of our business. You will report directly to our Field Service Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Kuwait location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by providing exceptional technical facilitation and service.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintains an accurate cyber-Database of the Installed Base by updating the Repository 
  • Performs or ensures cyber–Preventative Maintenance Tasks are completed on time 
  • Keeps customers informed on technical notifications and advises on recommended corrective actions.
  • Issues Monthly reports to Customers on the activities and system health as per the Reporting Guidelines.
  • Trusted Advisor to the Clients, working with or independently to Sales to advise clients of new technology or services that will add value 
  • Assists with driving awareness for Break through Initiatives
  • Works with Solution Architect to Maintain the Automation Plans
  • Provides technical leadership for the project
  • Provides technical coordination and planning 
  • Defines the required deliverables as per the GPM 
  • Works with PM to develop the schedule
  • Ensures deliverables Quality and Accuracy
  • Proactively drives the delivery /schedule, managing the customer and team   to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget
  • Maintains the data and prepares as well as drives the project gate reviews as per Honeywell GPM practices
  • Pro-actively engages and informs the Project Manager of resources requirements
  • Drives all Technical issues as liaison with TAC to ensure successful conclusion
  • Pro-actively manages the risks and opportunities keeping the PM informed

Qualifications:
  • 7 years’ experience as senior FSE
  • 5 years’ experience as service maintenance engineer
  • minimum certification L3/L4 & OPM L3/L4 in handling Honeywell DCS (TPS & EPKS)
  • Engineer (Project environment) with commissioning and SAT experience 
  • minimum 2 years with virtualization experience.
  • CCNI and Cybersecurity certification is a distinct advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer/electrical related field such as Computer Science, Computer information systems, electronics/electrical (MBA approval for Indian college) or in lieu of degree a minimum of 7 years experience in industrial automation network systems engineering with minimum certification L3/L4 or OPM L4 in handling Honeywell DCS (TPS & EPKS) & with CCNI and Virtualization experience as VMware

Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in field service engineering, 


Strong technical knowledge and expertise in industrial cyber security 


Preferred CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional or similar security certification


Preferred CISCO Certified Network/Design/Security Professional (at least one) – must currently be certified or in the process of certification/renewal 


Linux/Windows Security Basics 


5+ years working with IT Security 


5+ years Industrial Networking 


2+ years Leading Security Projects


2+ years performing audits/assessments


Cyber Security Risk Analysis 


Process Control system design/implementation 


Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve complex network and or application or system integration issues 


Fault Tolerant Ethernet (Honeywell product)
