Role Summary The Building Engineer will be responsible for supervising, inspecting, and maintaining building systems throughout the project lifecycle.
This role requires strong technical expertise in construction and infrastructure, the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to ensuring that all engineering activities are executed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities Oversee building engineering activities across construction, installation, and maintenance phases.
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
Identify and resolve technical issues related to structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural systems.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of engineering tasks.
Review technical drawings, reports, and documentation to support project decision‑making.
Monitor progress, report deviations, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Support commissioning, testing, and handover processes for building systems.
Ensure adherence to quality assurance and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 12 years of experience in infrastructure, building, or construction projects.
Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and engineering standards.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Proven experience working in multidisciplinary project environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or a related engineering field (preferred).
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and project excellence.
