Commercial Manager – Levant
Commercial Manager - Levant, based out of Jordan, will be responsible to develop, plan and manage sales set-up & sales channels in Levant region. The role holder will manage the activities of the sales team to fulfil market obligations for travel trade, customer and corporate in the region and also promote the Jazeera Airways brand, product and services through the primary distribution channels.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare the sales budgets/ goals for Levant region.
- Develop and implement sales plans and market strategies to increase revenue and market share in Levant region.
- Achieve the assigned revenue & sales targets.
- Determine the growth opportunities to ensure an effective sales and market coverage.
- Develop and implement sales procedures and policies in line with the industry best practices.
- Develops, capitalizes on and maintains effective relationships with external parties of different nature such as travel agencies, GSAs, government departments, ministries, tourism companies, as well as individual agents and trade companies, to enhance business and grow sales.
- Recognizes the unique needs of the assigned region versus JAZ products and services; evaluates flights and fares with Revenue Management (RM) Team, identifies new route opportunities and recommends the same RM with a proper business case.
- Ensure the sales and revenue opportunities are maximized.
- Translates input received from sales teams into recommendations to Regional Manager based on cost/benefit analysis.
- Regularly visit travel agencies / Corporates to develop & maintain relationships.
- Organize Road shows, workshop or joint airline event for the trade, trade presentations, and FAM trips in Levant region to ensure increased branding visibility.
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Oversee and direct performance of the sales team.
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Sales, Management.
- Additional qualification in Aviation/IATA/Tourism is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Working Knowledge of Commercial Systems.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Sales in a Commercial Airline having POS, in Levant Region.
- Good Communication skills in English, Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.

Sales Manager - CAI & HBE, based out of Cairo, will be responsible to develop, plan and manage sales set up & Sales channels. The successful candidate must effectively manage the activities of the sales team to fulfil market obligations for travel trade, customer and corporate. (S)he must work on achieving the set goals & targets planned for assigned territory and must promote the Jazeera Airways brand, product and services through the primary distribution channels.

- Determine the growth opportunities to ensure an effective sales and market coverage.

Regional Manager – GCC & Egypt will be responsible to achieve the Company’s commercial objectives by identifying new channels of business, building effective business relationships and enhancing brand visibility. The role holder will be accountable for revenue achievement and overall market share growth in GCC & Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible to drive the overall sales and achieve targets of the company ensuring productivity is in line with set measures and company’s adopted policies and procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepares the sales budget for GCC and Egypt region.
- Drives business by leading the sales team in the assigned region to identify new opportunities, new travel agencies and markets to grow sales and revenue based on market needs and conditions measured to JAZ products and services.
- Translates input received from sales teams into recommendations to Regional Manager based on cost/benefit analysis.
- Drives/supports sales target scales, objectives and performance parameters of the sales team in the region.
- Constantly reviews financial data to evaluate performance, identify shortages, determine root causes, recommend changes to sales team, and implement corrective measures accordingly.
- Conduct periodic sales review meetings with Country Managers/ Commercial Managers in the assigned region.
- Builds/maintains rapport with stakeholders and key customers in the respective region to ensure offers are made according to their needs and thereby enhance customer satisfaction.
- Periodically analyze competitors’ fare levels in all markets and whenever possible, endeavor to raise Jazeera Airways’ yield.
- Develop incentive plan (if required) for travel agents/corporate accounts to maintain competitive edge in the market and drive sales and topline revenue.
- Prepare periodical reports for Management on sales and market growth and/or decline and recommend the necessary changes needed to ensure the desired results are achieved in a rapidly changing, highly demanding and competitive market environment. Reports should include competitors’ activities such as fare levels, incentive programs, marketing initiatives, etc.
- Conducts field visits, benchmark studies and market analysis to keep abreast with competitors’ position, market conditions, and customer needs affecting market trends.
- Takes necessary action to ensure required load factors.
- Selects travel agents based on established criteria.
- Generates function-related performance reports regularly.
- Assists in recruiting staff in new areas, helps establish the office and monitors its operation.
