Commis Chef

Are you passionate about cooking and eager to grow your culinary career? We are looking for a Commis Chef who is enthusiastic, disciplined, and ready to learn while supporting daily kitchen operations in a professional hospitality environment.


A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:


  • Assisting senior chefs in the preparation and presentation of dishes.
  • Preparing ingredients, mise en place, and basic cooking under supervision.
  • Following recipes, portion control, and kitchen standards accurately.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
  • Assisting with proper storage of food items and stock rotation (FIFO).
  • Supporting smooth service by coordinating with different kitchen sections.
  • Learning kitchen operations, techniques, and best practices.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by senior kitchen leaders.

What we need from you:


  • Previous experience as a Commis Chef or relevant kitchen experience is an advantage.
  • Basic culinary knowledge and a strong interest in food preparation.
  • Willingness to learn, take instructions, and work as part of a team.
  • Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Good communication skills in English; Arabic language will be an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Culinary training or hotel management qualification will be an advantage.
