Roles & responsibilities
Vendor Registration & Prequalification Manage contractor registration, classification, and prequalification with engineering, oil & gas, and government-related entities in Kuwait. Prepare, submit, and follow up on all technical, commercial, and compliance documentation required for approvals. Coordinate internally to collect required engineering CVs, experience records, certifications, and financial documents. Track approval status, renewals, updates, and compliance requirements. Maintain accurate records of registrations and validity periods.
Contracts & Opportunity Monitoring Monitor engineering tenders, RFQs, and contracting opportunities within approved sectors. Maintain an updated log of upcoming and active opportunities. Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and procurement departments. Support preparation of prequalification responses and tender submissions when required. Coordination & Reporting Act as the main point of contact with authorities and sector entities. Provide regular status updates to management on registrations, approvals, and market opportunities. Ensure all registrations remain valid and compliant with sector requirements.
Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) Strongly preferred due to engineering-sector registration and classification requirements. Experience 3–7 years of experience in Kuwait in one or more of the following: Vendor registration and prequalification Engineering contracts or tendering Contractor approvals within regulated sectors Proven hands-on experience with engineering contractor registration and compliance processes.
Skills & Knowledge Strong understanding of engineering and regulated-sector procurement processes in Kuwait Familiarity with contractor classifications and approval requirements Excellent documentation, coordination, and follow-up skills Ability to communicate professionally with authorities and sector stakeholders English required; Arabic is a strong advantage Proficient in MS Office
