We are looking for a detail-oriented Drone Operations Support Technician to
enhance the efficiency and safety of our drone-based powerline inspection missions.
This role supports field operations as a Visual
Observer and assists with mission logistics, data organization, and quality control.
You will work closely with the Sensor Operator and Chief Pilot to ensure smooth, high-
quality operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Visual Observer during drone missions to maintain visual line-of-sight and
situational awareness.
Assist in the setup, transportation, and maintenance of drone systems and
equipment.
Qality Control and organization of inspection data and imagery
Support maintenance and storage of compliance documentations and
operational records to centralized platforms (e.g. logs, checklists, forms).
Support inventory tracking and logistics for batteries, consumables, and spares.
Help maintain field safety zones and enforce SOPs.
Collaborate on post-mission reviews to ensure all required data is captured and
logged.
Qualifications:
Diploma or technical training related to Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Strong computer skills: file management, spreadsheets, software tools.
Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking).
High attention to detail and a strong sense of organization.
Comfortable with field work in remote or hot environments and carry equipment.
Strong commitment to safety culture and operational discipline.
Willingness to train in powerline infrastructure and drone operations (existing
experience preferred)
Good vision and hand-eye coordination
Preference for those with demonstrated interest in drones and/or willingness to
learn basic piloting skills for future upskilling and advancements.
