Role Summary The Electrical Inspector will oversee and verify electrical works across building or infrastructure projects , ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and relevant codes.
The role focuses on quality assurance, site inspections, safety compliance, and coordination with project stakeholders to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities Conduct daily inspections of electrical installations for building or infrastructure works, grounding, lighting, power distribution, and equipment installation.
Ensure all electrical works comply with project specifications, IFC drawings, and applicable standards.
Review and verify electrical shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
Prepare inspection requests, reports, NCRs, and follow up on corrective actions.
Witness testing and commissioning activities, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
Identify and report any deviations, unsafe practices, or quality issues.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project management teams to resolve technical issues.
Support project close‑out activities, including snagging, final inspections, and handover documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical inspection for building and/or infrastructure projects.
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
Experience with LV/MV distribution systems, grounding, lighting, and ELV systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
Familiarity with testing procedures, commissioning activities, and quality control processes.
Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
Experience working with consultants or contractors in large‑scale projects is preferred.
Valid professional registration or certification is an advantage
