Job Description

Key Accountability , Responsibility:
  • Proactively manage and qualify the accounts in his/her assigned territory by contacting the customers through disciplined phone call campaigns and update the customers’ accounts with complete information.
  • Maintain consistent contact with the customers by calling them on either daily, weekly, monthly, or semi-annual basis and achieve the targeted number of calls per week.
  • Maintain accurate customer account and contact information as well as machine population to help in targeting assigned customers for sales and promotions and track specific account and territory goals.
  • Promote all aspects of the Dealership by selling Machines (New/Used), Material Handling (Lift Trucks) and Rental services for the same.
  • Document all achievement in terms of customer calls and other activities, customer updates and customer opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Develop and qualify leads for Equipment or Material Handling and communicate with the Sales Manager for further action.
  • Maintain a strong positive relationship with his/her customers and fellow employees (PSSR/machine/engine sales reps) for a smooth process flow.
  • Promote Sales Campaigns and Events and Identifying sales opportunities.
  • Follow up with customer's directly until closure, or with the support of the sales manager.
  • Achieve sales and coverage targets agreed as per the Annual business plan.
Product brand & Al-Bahar image
  • Promote and conduct business professionally in order to protect the integrity of Caterpillar brand and Al-Bahar image.
Company policies & procedures             
  • Ensure all departmental activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant standing instructions and other company policies.
  •  Develop and maintain a filing system
QHSE policy & procedures
  • Promote safety awareness and ensure compliance to HSE policy to maintain a hazard and incident free environment.
  • Promote awareness of the significant environmental aspects and related actual or potential environmental impacts associated with the work.
  Qualification and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 1- 2 years of relevant experience in sales, Heavy Equipment / Material Handling or automotive industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
  • Has initiative and can work well with different people
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills.
