Role Summary The Lab Technician will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests on construction materials to ensure they meet project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
This role involves performing routine and specialized tests, maintaining accurate records, and supporting engineers and site teams with reliable data for decision‑making.
The technician plays a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of materials used in infrastructure or building projects.
Key Responsibilities Conduct laboratory tests on materials such as concrete, asphalt, soil, aggregates, and other construction materials.
Prepare samples, operate testing equipment, and ensure proper calibration and maintenance.
Record, analyze, and report test results in accordance with project standards and procedures.

Identify non‑conforming materials and report findings to the engineering and QA/QC teams.

Qualifications & Requirements Diploma or technical qualification in Laboratory Technology, Material Testing, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in material testing for infrastructure or building projects.
Strong knowledge of testing procedures, standards, and laboratory equipment.
Familiarity with international standards (ASTM, AASHTO, BS, etc.
). Excellent attention to detail, documentation skills, and analytical abilities.
Ability to work effectively with engineers, QA/QC teams, and site personnel.
