We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a full of potential and reliable Mechanical Procurement Engineer to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team in one of our projects in Kuwait and procure mechanical rotating and static equipment, ensuring alignment and compliance with project specifications.



Job Description
  • Source rotating equipment such as slop pumps.
  • Procure static equipment including slop tanks, sewage treatment packages, marine loading arms, gangway towers, HVAC equipment, gate/globe/check/needle valves, butterfly valves, specialty items, pressure/temperature safety valves, firefighting equipment, and safety signs.
  • Ensure compliance with mechanical design and safety standards.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective equipment.
  • Close coordination with Post order team (Expediting Team) for Vendor deliverables.
  • Managing diverse static equipment procurement with safety/quality compliance.

Qualifications
  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment (e.g., pumps) and static equipment (e.g., tanks, valves), procurement processes, and safety standards.

  • Oil/gas rotating and static equipment experience, UAE/Kuwait standards.
  • Complements SCM team with rotating equipment expertise.
  • Enhances SCM team with static equipment expertise.
  • 3–5 years of design and engineering experience in mechanical rotating and static systems prior to procurement role.
  • Procurement experience in oil/gas as well as marine projects.
