Job Overview:


We are seeking a proactive and experienced Government Relations & Passports Affairs Representative to manage all governmental transactions, procedures, and documentation related to visas, passports, and official government dealings in Kuwait.


The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of local government departments, regulations, and processes, ensuring the company’s compliance and smooth operations in all official matters.


Responsibilities:


  • Handle all government-related paperwork, applications, and follow-ups for visas, work permits, residencies, and passports for employees.


  • Liaise with various government entities such as the Ministry of Interior, Customs, Public Authority for Industry, Public Authority of Manpower, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, and other relevant departments.


  • Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and procedures related to immigration, labor, and government affairs in Kuwait.


  • Facilitate the processing, renewal, and cancellation of all company and employee official documents (e.g., civil IDs, labor cards, Licenses).


  • Ensure timely submission of documents and payments to avoid penalties or delays.


  • Maintain accurate records and databases of all employee documents, company and expiry dates.


  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to government transactions efficiently.


  • Provide guidance and support to employees on government-related procedures and requirements.


  • Represent the company in government offices and build strong professional relationships with officials.


Skills:


  • In-depth understanding of Kuwaiti government systems, procedures, and protocols.


  • Familiarity with immigration, labor, License, and residencies/visa regulations.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.


  • Proficiency in Arabic (both written and spoken) is required.


  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.


  • Must have a valid Kuwaiti driving license and own transportation.


Requirements:


  • Arabic Speaker with extensive local experience.


  • Holding Diploma or higher in any related field.


  • Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in government relations.
