Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Oracle development using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, and Reports.
Strong experience in Oracle databases including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and performance tuning.
Experience in developing and supporting insurance systems such as policy administration, underwriting, claims, and premium calculations.
Experience in modifying database schemas and ensuring data integrity in insurance applications.
Good understanding of insurance business logic and regulatory requirements.
Experience in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Ability to provide production support and troubleshoot legacy insurance applications.
Experience with Java / Oracle ADF / Oracle APEX is an added advantage.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferably with exposure to insurance systems or financial services applications.
Skills
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during insurance closing cycles.
Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new insurance tools and technologies.
Flexible to work beyond normal working hours when required by business needs.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and multicultural environments.
Continuous learning mindset to enhance insurance domain and technical skills.
