Production Engineering Consultant - Digital Solutions

Job Overview:

The Production Engineering Consultant – Digital Solutions will play a vital role in supporting Weatherford’s digital production optimization initiatives in Kuwait. This position focuses on utilizing advanced digital tools and engineering expertise to enhance artificial lift well performance (ESP, PCP, SRP) and maximize production efficiency. The Consultant will lead digital workflow implementation, integrate real-time production data, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver sustainable production optimization and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert technical consultancy on artificial lift system optimization (ESP, PCP, SRP) using digital and analytical tools.

• Model and simulate well and system performance using Wellflo, REO, Pipesim, GAP, and PROSPER.

• Develop, implement, and maintain digital production optimization workflows aligned with Weatherford’s technology platforms.

• Analyze production data to identify underperforming wells and recommend optimization strategies.

• Integrate digital solutions and real-time monitoring to enhance well surveillance and predictive maintenance.

• Collaborate with operations, digital teams, and clients to ensure successful solution deployment.

• Prepare technical reports, studies, and performance improvement presentations for stakeholders.

• Drive continuous improvement of production optimization methodologies and digital workflows.

• Ensure adherence to Weatherford’s HSE policies and quality management standards in all activities.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Artificial Lift Systems – ESP, PCP, and SRP.

• Proficiency in Wellflo, REO, Pipesim, GAP, and PROSPER for production modeling and optimization.

• Strong background in digital oilfield technologies, production data analysis, and workflow automation.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven mindset.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and cross-functional collaboration.

• Familiarity with production systems, digital integration, and field optimization processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering (required).

• Minimum 10 years of experience in production engineering and artificial lift optimization.

• Proven expertise in digital production optimization and artificial lift performance enhancement.

• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and deliver technical excellence in a fast-paced environment
