Role Summary The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all cost and contract-related aspects of the project, ensuring accurate estimation, budgeting, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
This role involves close coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to support effective cost planning, procurement, and commercial management for infrastructure or building projects.
Key Responsibilities Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documentation.
Review contractor invoices, variations, and claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial progress, identifying risks and variances.
Support procurement activities, including evaluation of bids and contract negotiations.
Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and cost optimization exercises.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment between design, scope, and budget.
Maintain accurate cost records, reports, and documentation.
Assist in preparing monthly progress reports and financial summaries.
Ensure compliance with project standards, contractual requirements, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure or building projects.
Strong knowledge of cost control, contract administration, and commercial management.
Experience with large‑scale or complex developments is preferred.
Proficiency in cost estimation software and industry-standard tools.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
