About the job Retail Business Systems Analyst
Our client, a leading company in the FMCG industry in Kuwait, is seeking an experienced Retail Business Systems Analyst with expertise in Odoo 16/17. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of business, financial, and marketing modules, along with hands-on experience in configuring and maintaining Odoo systems. The role involves analyzing business processes, designing solutions, and configuring the system to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document business processes related to retail operations, including POS, procurement, inventory, recipe management, pricing and promotions, and e-commerce.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to understand their requirements and objectives, serving as a liaison between business units and IT to translate business needs into system requirements.
- Implement, configure, and maintain Odoo 16/17 business, financial, and marketing modules.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
- Provide training and support to staff on the use of Odoo systems.
- Collaborate with IT to manage system upgrades, patches, and other maintenance tasks.
- Monitor system usability and gather feedback from users to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices within the system's processes.
- Advise on the use of various Odoo options and recommend best practices for enhancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Business Analyst or equivalent.
- Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in the Retail industry, with at least 1-2 years in senior roles.
- Knowledge about various Odoo options and best practices for maintenance and enhancements .Experience in Odoo 16/17 is a Plus.
- Certifications in business analysis (IIBA, IREB, ISCB, or PMI) are a plus. Odoo certification is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English is required. Arabic language is a plus.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
