Job Purpose: The DC Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Distribution Center, ensuring
timely and accurate order dispatch, proper inventory control, and efficient warehouse workflows. This role is
expected to lead operational improvements, redesign SOPs, and train staff to elevate performance and service quality.
The ideal candidate brings leadership, structure, and retail logistics experience to support growth and minimize risk.
Key Accountabilities:
▪ Oversee the full order dispatch cycle: receiving, picking, packing, and delivery readiness.
▪ Monitor and optimize daily job flows, staff schedules, and task assignments.
▪ Improve warehouse layout for better space utilization and safety.
▪ Review and redesign Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for dispatch, receiving, inventory, and
documentation.
▪ Coordinate with other departments (Sales, Customer Service, Factory) for smooth workflow alignment.
▪ Train, supervise, and mentor warehouse staff on systems, procedures, and safety practices.
▪ Promote a culture of discipline, teamwork, and accountability.
▪ Ensure timely and accurate preparation of all customer orders.
▪ Ensure full implementation of FIFO, octopus and other inventory protocols.
▪ Conduct regular performance assessments and identify skill gaps.
▪ Implement checks and controls to reduce human error, delays, and misplacements.
▪ Oversee accurate data entry and system usage by all staff.
▪ Ensure delivery notes, invoices, and dispatch documents are properly generated and archived.
▪ Provide regular reports on order fulfillment rates, delays, and inventory discrepancies.



Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
▪ Minimum 4–6 years in warehousing/logistics, preferably in retail or FMCG sectors.
▪ Proficient in inventory systems, ERP warehouse software, and MS Office.
▪ Proven ability to lead teams, implement change, and improve processes.
▪ Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
