As a Functional Specialist, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, optimization, and on-going maintenance of our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), the Workday platform. This role is critical for streamlining HR processes, ensuring data accuracy, and facilitating data-driven decision-making within the HR department and across the organization.
Your role will revolve around:
System Configuration and Support:
Configure and customize Workday to meet the organization's requirements, including setting up new modules, functionalities or workflows.
Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with the relevant parties to investigate and suggest the best solution
Develop recommendations and advise on best market practices to better support various processes and employees autonomy on the system
Act as the main point of contact for the HRIS functional support inquiries related to the Workday platform
Data and Reporting Management:
Manage HR related data (availability, accessibility, integrity, accuracy), conduct regular audits and rectifications, to ensure clean reporting
Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
Produce HR metrics/KPIs and relevant reports to support data-driven decision-making.
Develop and maintain standard and customized reports for HR and other departments.
Analyze data and trends in order to provide insights to the management.
Process Improvement:
Automate and streamline HR processes using the HRIS, keeping the market best practices but also Murex's specificities in mind.
Understand the business specificities in order to help identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains (cost, time,...).
Collaborate with the different HR teams worldwide (HR Specialists, HRBPs, HR sites) to make sure processes and configuration are valid and adapted to their local context
Participate in cross functional projects to improve overall HR strategy, using data to analyze and influence strategic decisions
Trainings and change management
Conduct user training and provide guidance on best practices.
Enrich support KBs, user guides, FAQs in order to better assist HRIS users in their learning curve and adoption of the system.
Document main HR processes and keep them up to date whenever modifications occur.
Vendor liaison and continuous improvement
Regularly interact with Workday community to stay up to date on market trends and new functionalities developed
Follow up and manage system regular upgrades, help coordinate the decision making on when to use new features or functionality introduced in the software
Participate in the implementation and configuration of upcoming modules of our HRIS system by analyzing team requirements and technical specifications
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience providing technical support for workday, or similar HRIS platforms, is a must
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Capacity to handle confidential and sensitive information
Team player, adept at collaborating with cross -functional teams
Strong attention to details, adept at prioritizing, organizing, and multitasking
Excellent proficiency level in Microsoft Excel
English is a must and French is a plus
