The Key Responsibilities are:

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI).
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best coding practices and design patterns.
  
• Develop scalable backend components and microservices while ensuring performance, reliability, and clean architecture.
  
• Work with PostgreSQL (or similar SQL databases), including schema design, query optimization, and indexing.
  
• Implement and support event‑driven systems using message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
  
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or Bruno.
  
• Use Git and version control best practices for collaborative engineering.
  
• Diagnose and resolve production issues through logs, tracing, and profiling.
  
• Implement and support third‑party integrations, orchestrating workflows and connecting services/APIs.
  
• Containerize and deploy services using Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.
  
• Collaborate with DevOps teams and contribute to CI/CD processes.
  
• Support frontend development when needed, preferably with Python‑compatible frameworks.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Engineer with strong backend focus.
  
• Hands-on experience with Python (FastAPI) for building APIs and backend services.
  
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL (or similar SQL databases): schema design, query optimization, indexing etc.
  
• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
  
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
  
• Experienced in API testing (Postman, Bruno etc.) and Version Control Systems (Git).
  
• Strong debugging skills: quickly diagnose and resolve production issues (logs, tracing, profiling).
  
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  
• Experience troubleshooting production systems using logs, tracing, and profiling.
  
• Ability to implement and maintain third-party integrations.
  
• Basic familiarity with frontend development.
  
• Excellent English communication skills.
  
• This opportunity is remote for Egyptian applicants and Hybrid for Lebanese applicants.
