As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, your mission is to ensure the optimal performance, safety, and longevity of all heavy construction machinery and mechanical systems. You will be responsible for overseeing inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance of a fleet of earthmovers, mixers, vibrators, crushers, and related equipment — ensuring uninterrupted project execution and high equipment reliability.
Manage the maintenance, repair, and inspection of heavy construction equipment and mechanical systems.
Oversee the condition and functionality of machines such as earthmovers, concrete mixers, vibrators, and crushers.
Conduct troubleshooting, repair, and overhauling of mechanical and electrical components.
Supervise fleet management to ensure operational safety and readiness.
Coordinate with vendors for parts procurement, component assembly, and outsourced repair work.
Prepare and manage maintenance budgets and prioritize essential repairs.
Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety regulations and performance standards.
Minimum age: 30 years.
Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, or a 3-year DAE in Mechanical.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance within heavy equipment or construction sectors.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in heavy construction machinery.
Capable of managing vendor coordination, budgeting, and documentation.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Professional proficiency in English is essential for technical communication and reporting.
