What You’ll Do: 


  • Build and drive the product roadmap to deliver a reliable, robust and scalable product
  • Lead and grow a team of passionate and talented engineers, and work with engineers across multiple geographies to ensure we deliver results efficiently
  • Provide support and guidance that enables the team to self-organize and to achieve sustained high velocity and predictability
  • You will champion an atmosphere of continuous improvement with a metrics driven culture
  • Diagnose and resolve systemic obstacles, distilling complex and ambiguous situations into actionable plans to ensure your team can deliver high-quality software
  • Help employees grow through career development, coaching, and mentoring while guiding senior contributors to maximize their potential.
  • You'll provide a clear path for progression through personal development plans, defining goals, perform evaluations, and collaborate with employees on their objectives; retain top talent
  • Build a high-performing team, creating a culture of transparency in a fast-paced environment
  • Foster a strong collaborative mindset working closely with your peers in Product Management, Architects, Program Management, etc - to bring diverse viewpoints and goals together
  • Bring a zeal for solving customer problems, work closely with Support and cascade the same passion within your team

 


Experience You’ll Need: 


  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
  • 10+ years of industry experience with 2+ years in Engineering Management
  • Experience building and cultivating strong engineering practices and processes
  • Experience hiring and developing teams within an existing organization
  • Experience working with customers and supporting a large customer base 
  • Experience with public cloud features and costs (such as compute, storage, networking, and data services) on platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI
  • Experience with file systems, storage solutions or data protection is a huge plus

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US Pay Range
$188,500—$282,700 USD
