Our Content team is committed to creating high-quality technical interview questions that are used to assess engineering talent around the world. Working in various technical domains, we produce new interview questions (known internally as 'content') on a weekly basis and are responsible for the writing, testing, publishing, and monitoring of all Karat content.


This is NOT a coding Software Engineer position. Please do not apply if you are looking for a traditional Software Engineering role.What you will do

As a Senior Content Development Engineer at Karat, you will develop high-quality technical interview questions to update Karat’s technical content library for modern AI-enabled engineering workflows across engineering role types (data science, software engineering, etc.). You will also uphold Karat’s interview content standards through peer reviews, mentorship, and feedback integration.


We are looking to hire for this position in Mexico City, Mexico.


  • Use your engineering knowledge to produce Karat’s most complex interview coding questions, including the creation of extensive codebases and objective design exercises.
  • Partner with internal teammates in the development of new content formats that enable candidates to leverage generative AI during their interviews.
  • Utilize a variety of known and forthcoming AI tools to continuously iterate on Karat content.
The experience you will bring

Required:


  • 5+ of post-academic experience as a software engineer, with demonstrated ability to program in a common programming language
  • Heavy, hands-on working experience using Agenetic AI tools
  • Experience working remotely with global teams
  • Fluent, concise English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience operating independently with high-output and strict deadlines

Preferred and/or a Plus:


  • Experience conducting technical interviews
  • Strong Leetcode, HackerRank, GitHub contribution history
  • Project, product, or program management experience
  • High-growth, quick-change startup experience
