Position overview:


Reporting directly to the APQP Quality coordinator, our future APQP engineer will have to ensure the smooth running and industrialization of the new wiring projects respecting all customer requirements and automotive standards in terms of quality and time management.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate the APQP phases and submit PPAP packages during new projects launches, product and process changes following customer requirements.
  •  Request and track all PPAP approvals, and get the signed PSW’s for new projects and product/process changes.
  • Ensure the product validation plan elaboration and follow-up.
  • Ensure direct contact with the quality residents at customer sites in order to solve quality issues reported by the customer.
  • Create and update the Control Plans and participate in the risk assessment and PFMEA elaboration and updates.
  • Ensure the coordination between the customer and the plant team in term of issues, changes, start ups…
  • Ensure that all customer requirements and specifications are being correctly deployed.
  • Ensure the special characteristics agreements with the customer, and make sure that the multidisciplinary team are clearly aware and deploy them correctly.
  • Receive and manage customer complaints (8D, 48h response, Action plan, 8D closure).
  • Participate in the new RFQ’s review and submission
  • Ensure the customer audits and visits preparation and follow-up.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with all teams in order to achieve and maintain the IATF and ISO certifications:

Key skills and Qualifications:


  • Bac+5 with a minimum 1 year of experience in the automotive industry 
  • Good knowledge of quality core tools: APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC,…
  • Good knowledge of problem solving tools : 8D, ISHIKAWA, 5WHY’s,…
  • Good Knowledge of Quality Management systems IATF and ISO standards
  • Ability to work in a high-tempo environment and interact with team members over a wide scope of the organization
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
