Reporting to the Industrial Department, the Maintenance Manager's mission is to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of industrial facilities, while ensuring the safety of people, regulatory compliance, and optimization of maintenance costs.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Define and deploy the site's preventive, corrective, and improvement maintenance strategy.
  • Ensure the availability of production equipment (process, utilities, electrical, and mechanical installations).
  • Manage and develop the maintenance team (organization, skills development, evaluation).
  • Develop and monitor the maintenance budget (OPEX / CAPEX) and track performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Supervise the work of external service providers and subcontractors.
  • Participate in industrial projects: new installations, expansions, revamping, technical investments.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, quality standards, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Implement a continuous improvement process (reliability, reduction of downtime, cost optimization).
  • Manage the stock of critical spare parts


Required profile :
  • Higher education in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Maintenance, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience (minimum 7 to 10 years) in a similar role, ideally in the chemical sector, industrial process, or heavy industry.
  • Strong skills in industrial maintenance, reliability, utilities, and automation.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing technical teams.
  • Good command of maintenance management tools (CMMS).
  • Sense of organization, leadership, analytical skills, and ability to work in a demanding environment.
  • Proficiency in French is essential; English is a plus.
  • Mobility and ability to adapt to an industrial context in West Africa.
