Role purpose



You will work from our office in Casablanca and report into the Principal Real-World Services, with focus mainly on the Moroccan market and other markets in East, West and North Africa, supporting our regional Real World Services team based in Casablanca, Morocco. Typical projects include development and adaptation of medico-economic models, network meta-analyses, survival analysis and real-world evidence studies using electronic medical records, databases, registries and claims. The audience for these analyses will be various pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical technology companies. As part of a broader team, you will contribute to the design of these type of studies, preparation of the data, analysis, quality control, interpretation and presentation of the results. Part of your role will be to develop proposals and provide clients with high quality and timely solutions to meet their needs.

Principal Accountabilities



1- Business development:
Lead the business development activities and build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including experts, clients, MoH, private and public institutions… Interact with internal and external stakeholders to identify Real world services projects. Assist with client management and attend external meetings.

2- Projects delivery:



Lead the development and adaptation of medico-economic models (cost-effectiveness, cost-utility and budget impact models), Organize and conduct high quality primary and secondary research studies Conduct evidence synthesis by means of meta-analysis, indirect treatment comparison or network meta-analysis (frequentist or Bayesian) with patient-level and/or aggregate data (e.g. from literature review) from RCTs Contribute to the development of value dossiers and support material for clients Conduct retrospective and prospective observational studies, including the development of study protocol, questionnaire, data analysis, study report and publications. Specify and/or extract data from databases; prepare and analyse datasets according to study protocol and SAP Lead the dissemination of any relevant findings through technical reports, manuscripts, posters and presentations, Assist with project management and project delivery, including oral presentations

Qualifications And Skills



MSc or PhD or equivalent in health economics, epidemiology, statistics, biostatistics or related discipline Prior relevant experience working, at least 8 years, as a pharmaco-economist, HEOR and/or Market Access in consultancy, CRO or pharmaceutical/biotech Ability to develop and adapt pharmaco-economics models (e.g. Markov models) Good understanding of the Moroccan healthcare system is a prerequisite Strong numeracy and quantitative skills as well as competency using MS Excel (competency using Visual Basic is a plus) Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) Strong written and verbal communication skills Flexible & problem-solving mindset, excellent attention to detail and ability to check own work so that drafts are delivered to a high quality Strong time-management and organizational skills Attitude to work well as a member of team and to build and manage relationships in a multi-cultural environment Eligibility to work in Morocco without visa sponsorship
